This is a great project car. it is a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible. Dark Turquoise Green and Blue with white trim. Two-tone interior is from Legendary Interior. I have the matching Legendary Interior boot and well cover for the convertible top.  The carpet was replaced with stock carpet. This the way the car was manufactured.

The suspension was completely rebuilt. Disassembled. cleaned. new poly bushings. new shocks and new stock leaf springs from Watkin's Springs in Albany NY. Disc brake conversion from SSBC. New bearings on all wheels. New Yukon 3. 55 gear and pinion as well as a limit slip rear end from ringpinion. com.

The original transmission and torque converter were rebuilt.

Front fenders were found in South Carolina. Rear quarter panel patches were welded in place. Dents pulled and as little body filler as possible was used. This car is solid.

I found a parts car with an intact convertible top frame and transferred that to this car. The original had mice in the front frame that caused rusty holes where it meets the windshield and could not be repaired. The hydraulic top works well and I have a spare motor. The hoses were replaced last year.

Tires have less than 2000 miles on them. I have stock rims with old tires. I have an original set of hubcaps.

The engine is not the original but I have the original engine in parts and the block has been bored 0. 90 over which is within the limits of the 318 Poly specs. I have a spare transmission that I purchased with the engine that is in the car. I was told the engine had 32. 00 miles and I also purchased the instrument bezel from that car and the odometer is consistent with that. That car was a survivor and got a Hemi when this engine was removed.

There are TTI headers in place. a high torque starter to fit with these headers. a Weiand four barrel intake with a 750 Holley Carb. Magna-Flo stainless dual exhaust that needs to be tweaked a little to improve it's positioning. The car fell on me once and I really was not interested in climbing under again! The engine is otherwise stock and original. I do have the original manifold and carb. The gas tank is new!

That dash was removed and painted. I have a Painless wiring kit for the Mopar muscle cars. The battery will not hold charge long if left connected but otherwise original wiring is intact and working.

The bumpers are re-chromes from Bumper Boyz and are pitting. They could be re-chromed by someone better. I have at least one spare rear bumper and maybe a front.  I have two sets of the stainless trim for the convertible top around the windows. I have some extra trim pieces and emblems that are driver quality or could be re-chromed. I have a dash out of a 1965 Coronet as well.

This car needs a good craftsman or a professional to do a quality restoration. It is a nice driver that is a solid place to start. It will need to be picked up so we can gather all the parts that go with it. Car is sold as is no guarantee implied or given. The car runs and drives nicely.

Hello, this car used to belong to my father and he sold it before he passed away and I was hoping to buy it. This might be the same listing that my dad put up for it but I thought I would try this anyway.
