1967 Ford Mustang Fastback 5 Speed ~ Vintage Classic Car <<<---LOOK---<<<

This is a nice 1967 Mustang Fastback up for auction. I have owned this vehicle for 18 years!

Drivetrain:  Originally was an A Code 289 4V 4-speed. which as you can see is sitting on my garage floor and was fully rebuilt after I purchased the vehicle (have receipts to prove it). The 289 has less than 500 miles on it since rebuild. 30 over blueprinted and balanced. forged pistons. Heads were redone. Edelbrock cam and intake. Mallory electronic distributor. Due to motor sitting. please figure on needing new gaskets and seals (not included). This motor is included with the vehicle as it sits. so please consider this when you come to pick up or arrange transportation. Also top loader 4-speed no issues at all as you can see it's still attached to the motor.

Current motor that is installed in it currently (EFI 302 out of a 89 Mustang GT) that has around 60. 00 miles. with only 10. 00 on the top half. GT 40 cast iron heads with roller rockers and COBRA intake.  Ford MotorSport wiring harness. Walbro 190 LPH fuel pump. JBA shorty headers. 2-1/2" exhaust with flow master 40 series mufflers dumps at axle (IT'S SOUNDS AWESOME AND IS A HEAD TURNER!).  World class T-5 5-speed with King Cobra clutch. Runs very strong and well. 9 inch Ford rear end with a 3. 25 gear limited slip.  Has not seen many miles since the motor swap five years ago. thus I would suggest that the car be put on a trailer to take it home.  

Exterior:  Older garage restoration. so this is either a driver or a tear it back down and redo to your specifications.  This Fastback is not in show room condition. but it does look nice for the year.  I would suggest for you to come see it in person and hear it run (if you can).  Has a crack in the rear quarter where the paint or filler is splitting. Right hand side was repaired from a parking lot accident-light hit. it was filled and painted to match.  Exterior paint is in good condition (6 out of 10). does have normal wear (what you would expect for a 20 year old paint job). Overall body is in solid condition. except for the right rear quarter (see picture). Underbody is sold and floor boards had some work done at one point. decent job. frame rails and rockers are solid too. If I was keeping I would install right hand quarter and one of the one piece floor pans and a beautiful paint job.  This car is over 45 years old and is not perfect. Speedo does not work since motor swap and needs new cable to go with 5 speed trans. Fiberglass hood on car fits well. but needs new hinges installed which are included. I will put on if the weather will cooperate with us.  

Brakes:  Original drums on front which were converted to Granada power disc. Rear brakes are factory drums. All brake lines are newer.  

Rims and Tires:  American racing 15 x 7 on front and 15 x 8 on rear. Tires have good tread. but they are 17 years old (starting to dry rot).   

Interior:   Has normal wear and tear for this year vehicle. All original. Some fading on the carpet and seats. but no rips. tears or burns.  Factory radio does not work.
