Reg. No:  AHU 384

Chassis No. MR1234

Car No. D. 800

Engine No. LTOWZ/D/26776/SK  (This is the original J. A. P  OHV Water Cooled Engine Supplied on the car in 1934)

Despatched from Morgan Motor Co. 21st. March 1934.

This car was originally supplied with a 2 Seater Sports body. hen subsequently fitted with a later style Barrel-Back  Super Sports body. nd is now presented with a Beetle-Back Super Sports body. his

is generally acknowledged to be the prettier of the Super Sports styles.

The entire car has been fully restored from the ground up during my ownership since 2005. No expense has been spared. nd much of the work involved has been completed by the owner who has

over 50 years experience of Morgans & is a graduate engineer.

The car has the benefit of some sensible updating. ithout compromising the essence of  the Morgan Threewheeler. Most notably these are:-

   1) 12 volt electrics incorporating an alternator (still driven from the gearbox). Original self starter retained.

   2) Hydraulic front brakes.

   3) Borg & Beck clutch (coil spring type).

In addition. he following has been carried out in order to bring the car to its present outstanding condition & performance:-

   a) Full engine rebuild including valvegear. new Merlin Engineering flywheel & con-rod assembly. New barrels & pistons set at 8:1 compression. New camshafts with 8/80 JAP timings. /p>

original cylinder heads in good order retained with fresh valves & guides etc. etc. No stone left unturned!!

   b) Road wheels re-spoked on original (excellent) centres. inished Bright Red . resh tyres & inner tubes.

c)Steering Box overhauled. ew steering arms. inks & rods fitted. Steel sliding axles fitted with adjustable dampers & softer springs.

   d) Original chassis re-tubed as necessary. ront tie bars fitted to resist more powerful brakes.

   e) New exhaust pipes & silencers fitted.

   f) Gearbox fully rebuilt. ew bearings throughout. Original gears in excellent condition re-used. New worm & wormwheel fitted. il seals improved. Rear forks & trunnions reconditioned.

   g)New chain & new rear sprocket/brake drum.

h)Car painted blue. e-trimmed with grey hide.

   i)Electrics rewired. orn switches replaced.

This is a truly excellent car with engine/chassis/gearbox numbers matching Morgan Co. build records.

A rare opportunity to acquire a fantastic Morgan which can only gain in value - good luck to all bidders!

Dear Sir, I have just seen info and pictures regarding your Morgan, did you get the asking price? I have a Morgan 3 wheeler MX side valve 1934 barrel back. I 'm trying to sell it but had a poor offer of only 16000, it's fully restored with new engine re-build, what should the start price be? From your info I gather you have many years experience with Morgans, hope to hear back, sincerely, Mr Rob Martin.
