1961 Austin Healey Sprite MK1 (frogeye)
First registered June 1961. Sold by Wards Service Garage Ltd of Tunbridge Wells for the sum of 687 pound 15 shillings and 6 pence. This price included the following option:- heater. windscreen washer and bumper overriders. We have the original bill of sale and the Austin warranty certificate (sorry now expired).  
The car was purchased by a Mr R. W. Mullis from Hawenbury and at a later date it was given to his daughter Penny and we understand it stayed in the family till the early 2000s. It then went to a Mr Ben Howes of Tunbridge Wells and stayed with him till it was sold to a Trader. Mr Willam Harkins of Stokesley. North Yorkshire. We purchase the car in December 2006 and have done less that 2000 miles. The car lives in a nice warm dry garage and only ever comes out on sunny days.
It is now time for her to move on to a new owner.  
As you can see from the photos she comes with an original white factory glazed hardtop. original removable side screens and the original black soft top. She is finished in the original Leaf Green and has never needed repainting. The paint work in in very good condition with only a few little scabs (SEE PHOTOS). these are only surface rust patches and would touch up very easily (left as is so nothing is hidden) 
The inside of the car is beautifully finish in a matching light green. A new carpet and seat covers were fitted in 2003. All the instruments and switches work as they should
Mechanically the car is in great condition. If it needed doing it has been done. Since we owned the car if has been serviced every year at the same time as the M. O. T. The brakes where rebuilt in 2009 and the carbs. rebuilt in 2011. As the car drives like a dream and really does not need anything doing to it.  
She is being sold it this auction with no reserve and a low starting price of £6500. There is no buy it now price as the auction will run to the end. You are welcome to view the car any evening.
