You might not have another opportunity like this!  We are proud to have been chosen to represent this car for sale.   This car is as complete and original as you can get.   The car looks brand new inside and out and would fit right in at any Plymouth dealership in 1968.  This just may be the best example in the world.   Three build sheets were found in the car and have been preserved.   Extensive documentation and restoration pictures were taken and kept during the restoration and will obviously go with the car.   This is a one owner car (woman owned) and we have the original bill of sale. owner’s manuals. and other documentation including the certicard and original payment book.   The car was found in fantastic condition and only the best parts and top craftsmanship were used to get it to where it is today.   It was parked covered in a garage since the 80's and only recently brought out to be restored.   This is a fresh restoration with less than 200 miles since completion.   The interior is as it was when the car sold new.   It is all original.   Not NOS parts used. but exactly as it came from the factory.   The dash is perfect. the seats are perfect.   Everything works as it should.   Only the carpet and front door armrests and bezels have been changed.   When you climb into the car you are instantly transferred to 1968.

 

The exterior of the car has been repainted the original QQ1 blue. which is the same as B5 blue.   The paint on the car is perfect.   The original bumpers have been rechromed and the original hubcaps have been untouched. just a wash.   They were and are in that good of shape.   Just like the interior it is like new.   ZERO rust!  The registration sticker was left on the windshield from the last time it was on the road in the 80's.

 

All of the original drivetrain still resides in the car minus the engine.   The original 318 engine will come with the car.   It was running perfect when it was taken out.   In its place rests a completely rebuilt 273 Commando V8 engine.   The engine has been bored . 30 over. 10/10.   The heads were redone as well and a Comp Cam camshaft was installed.   The engine runs smooth and strong with zero issues. smoke. or any drama.  It idles perfect and will run all day for as long as you want to cruise.   The transmission has been gone through and the transmission shifts smooth and precise.   The suspension is tight. and the brakes work great.   Everything works and operates like new.   This car is as enjoyable to drive as it is to look at.  This is a no excuse car that will make whomever the new owner is completely happy.

 

This is a must see car. It could be argued that it really belongs preserved in a collection for future generations to enjoy and see because of how original it is.   However it can easily be shown and driven.   In fact the reason the 273 Commando was installed was to be able to drive the car without fear of anything happening to the completely original engine.   Call today with any questions.   We look forward to helping you anyway we can.  912-964-4422

     Buyer's Inspection

We do our best to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. We welcome a Buyer's Inspection. If you plan to have a Buyer's Inspection. please make sure you have the vehicle inspected prior to the end of the auction. Inspection fees. if any. are the "Buyer's" sole responsibility.

      Warranty

Unless stated otherwise. this vehicle is being sold "as is". No representations or warranties are made by the "Seller". nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by "Bidders" in making bids.

      Payments

We accept Certified and Cashiers Checks. Bank Wires and credit cards. All funding and paperwork must be received as soon as possible and within no more than 3 days of auction close or we reserve the right to re-list or sell to any other qualified buyer. Winning bidder must confirm his winning bid with a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. Balance of purchase is due to the seller within 3 days of end of auction.  

 

     Taxes and Fees

"Buyer" is responsible not only for knowing their own states' laws regarding taxes and fees. but also remitting the proper taxes. fees. and documents for their state. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered.  

      Title Information

Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing. there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive.

      Finalizing Your Purchase

Winning bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 2 business days. we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the "Buyer". all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the "Seller".

      Shipping and Delivery

All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed "Carriers" are generally insured for $500. 00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom.
