This is a very rare UK Right Hand Drive Fiat 130 Coupe Auto. finished in Dark Metallic Blue with Champagne Velour interior. It has had 5 keepers from new. It has covered a believed genuine 45k Miles from new and was fully restored in the Eighties. There were 4 owners in the first 6 years before the fifth owner undertook a full restoration in 1987. Photographic album showing lead loading and bare metal work is with the car. The car now presents very well. but is not concours. the rear bumper is not very good. The car has just had a £2000 overhaul and service and is taxed and MOT'd and ready for its new home.

Memorably described by Martin Buckley as a majestic blend of severity and grace. boldness and subtlety. sharp angles joined by soft curves. a true catwalk beauty. a masterclass that was widely copied in the Seventies but never equalled. quot; the Fiat 130 Coupe belongs firmly in the 'haute couture' rank of car design. Austere and aristocratic on the outside. it was pure hedonism on the inside with club class seats in funky orange velvet and a ribbed headlining that could have come straight from an executive jet.

Styled by Pininfarina's chief stylist. Paolo Martin. each car was painstakingly coachbuilt at the Pininfarina works in Cambiano rather than being mass produced at the Fiat works in neighbouring Turin. a 165bhp 3. 2-litre twin overhead cam V6 driving through a 3-speed automatic gearbox. it could accelerate to 60mph in 9. 5 seconds with a top speed of 118mph. With disc brakes and independent suspension all round. it had excellent road manners and attracted celebrity owners such as Sophia Loren. Dusty Springfield and Lord Carrington. Production finally ended in 1976 after just 4. 91 had been made. the vast majority in left-hand drive.

This is a great opportunity to buy a RHD Auto Coupe for a great price. they are moving upwards rapidly and they simply will not be available in this price bracket next year. The colours are superb. so is the history. and it is ready to go.
