EXTERIOR
Finished in ICI Strong Red this previous exhibition car has a clean mirror finish and has benefited from hours of preparation followed by numerous paint layering giving a wonderful depth and shine. A lightweight composite bodykit has been professionally fitted allowing track day benefits with cooling. ventilation and down force without radically altering the classic GT Turbo styling. No stone chips. dings or scuffs this vehicle has been constantly garaged and has absolutely no rust issues. A fantastically good fun. beautifully engineered hot hatch.




INTERIOR
The fine attention to detail continues with the interior of this Renault with two expensive Cobra Monaco S racing seats setting the scene. Strapped in with Willans seat harnesses the driver feels set with the perfect driving position easily achieved. Grey alcantara door cards. clean red carpeting and extra sports information gauges neatly positioned still do nothing to prepare you for the onslaught of fun that lies ahead! A high end in-car-entertainment system remains fully functional with glass shattering potential! Professionally executed but far from original.




ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
As an ex demonstrator reliability in conjunction with scintillating performance was crucial. For this reason the Renault F7x engine was selected with a 16-valve DOHC configuration with valves that are directly actuated by hydraulic tappets. This 1. 8 unit is equipped with a multipoint-EFI system and is commonly found in the modern sporting Clio range. With a lightened and balanced flywheel. oil cooling and K&N filtering the scope for greater output is easily achieved but this will satisfy most performance advocates who will appreciate reliability and low maintenance also. A full stainless steel exhaust system is massively addictive but comfortable when cruising. A strengthened and refurbished gearbox with new bearings fitted and short shift movement completes the package.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Perfect black powder coated Renault William 15" alloy wheels are shod in soft compound 195/45 ZR 15 racing tyres. Precaution needs to be exercised until optimal tyre temperature is reached. Dimpled EBC front and rear brake discs with uprated brake pads provide unbelievable stopping power time after time.

This Renault 5 GT Turbo was selected by Torsion Tuning to showpiece and demonstrate their engineering talent for modifying performance Renaults. As a result no expense was spared in creating this wonderful sports machine. Selected from a structurally sound example thousands was then spent in time and quality parts to generate interest and orders based on this vehicles appearance. specification and performance.
