I bought this over fifteen years ago with the clutch not working. About five years later. I decided because it was a sound car and everything was there. it would make the perfect candidate for building a “new” Rover 2000 TC. I took it apart and started ordering parts from ABC in VancouverBC. The trunk was rusted so I cut a panel out of a donor car and attempted to weld it back in. Someone should have told me that you have to know how to weld before you fire the torch. I had some help and it looks good. but there is one side that was never finished. I took the rear apart. cleaned. replaced parts. had the calipers rebuilt. turned the rotors. packed the front wheel bearings. replaced all of the rear u-joints and changed the oil in the de Dion tube. Take a look at what was charged to do the same work on the other 67 I am selling (automaniagp dot com back slash rover). Seems like I work for $1. 25/hour. I replaced some tie rod ends. ball joint boots and the rubber brake lines on the front of the car. I had a set of Koni Shocks that I cleaned up and installed. The dash was the best part of the car. no cracks or damage. Someone had had the all the seats done a while before I got the car but the back panels on the seat backs are coming adrift and will need to be sorted out once again. It is done in vinyl. but until you flip it over and look at the bottom. you cannot tell if it is leather or not.

The body panels were pulled off and come with the car. There were some small dents. but no signs of any big collision. The right rear fender had been replaced and there is a bent metal brace where the body and fender meet. The engine came roughly apart and is included in pieces with the car. The transmission is not included. it was sent out as a core. What you are buying is a lot of used parts. some new parts and a lot of labor to bring it to this point. I make no claim that it will ever drive again. but it was my intention when I started. I have a goodOregon title for the car.
