Such is the importance of this car. it has been on display at the Dagenham Heritage Centre for many years and has featured in the Ford 75th Anniversary TV advert. CONDITION

This car has 54. 00 miles on the clock and was found in the mid - 70's in a sad but sound condition in East London with only 50. 00 miles. At that time. the car had some light restoration work done but only to the bodywork when it was painted black and the front bumper rechromed.

In 1980 the rear body was stripped of it's varnish and resealed.   Some light work to the interior wood was carried out and all the woodwork was retained.   Therefore. this wood is original and has been described by Chris Sanders of the V8 Club as in "original condition. "
