Willys Overland took several steps to improve the Jeepsters position. The vehicle that truly lets you enjoy the nice days out. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is happy to bring to you this unique 1949 Jeepster.




The Jeepster borrows some features from both the Willys Station Wagon and truck. attempted to bridge the gap between the post war and the new era.  



This classic showcases a yellow paint job.  The current owner has owned it since 2007 and has not used it too much ever since just for special occasions.







 For as old as this Jeepster is. it is in exceptional condition. what better to enjoy the sunny days of spring than in an open car like this one.  Both doors close nicely and the grey top can be taken off for a convertible car.  


Moving along to the interior. the seats are covered with a red vinyl that looks to have been restored. they show no signs of wear or tear and the dashboard is all steel matching the color of the exterior.  







 

There is one center gauge cluster that includes the speedometer and all of the auxiliary gauges needed. The car seats up to six people and maybe five comfortably.










 
The white wall tires give the car that classic look. Pictures speak for themselves.




Under the hood there is a 134 cu in 4-cylinder. 3 speed manual transmission (with working overdrive). 60 hp. drum brakes. single transverse leaf spring suspension and rear driveline similar to what was used in the Willys station wagons at the time.











This is truly one of the nicest Jeepsters we have had in our showroom.











The frame seems to have been coated with an undercoating to prevent rust. The undercarriage is solid and we did not detect any rust.

The winning bidder must submit a 20% non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
 
PAYMENT METHODS
 
Our preferred method of payment is bank wire transfer. or 3rd party financing. We can work with you if that is a problem. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Feel free to call us with any questions.
 
PAYMENT OF BALANCE DUE
 
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle leaves our dealership.
 
TAX. TITLE AND LICENSE

We are a licensed Texas dealership.  It is required that we collect all tax. title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30. 00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of . 002276% and a small documentary fee of $75. 00 on ALL sales.
 
SHIPPING
 
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership. we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
