1957 Corvette Fuelie Rare Restored American Icon

Selling a True American Icon that has lived it's entire life in California until recently.  Includes documented history and "Black Plates".

The 1957 Corvette was utilized for America's first factory fuel injection made by Rochester Products. Numbers matching 7014520 Fuel Injection set up. nbsp;905 Distributor. and 193 casting intake. along with a freshly built 1957/ 548 casting block. nbsp;579 fuelie heads. correct 57 fuel filter. rare nine fin valve covers. posi-rear end. four speed transmission. new crisp white top (goes up and down extremely smooth).  All new wiring. mechanicals. and interior. This fuelie was painstakingly frame off restored over a twenty year period and only driven 100 miles since. When off the frame. the body was taken down to bare fiberglass and found it had a no it body. Covered in gorgeous Venetian Red Paint. which shows extremely nice. Attention to detail throughout is very apparent.  Starts and runs very strong without leaks or overheating and includes a starting solenoid that I installed to assist in cold starts. as well as a shut off valve to prevent hydraulic lock. The gaps and body on this iconic corvette are without question. the best I've ever seen on a C1 ever. Go to www. davidsonrestorations. com to see that I have had many C1's to compare with. Some have gone to Barrett Jackson in Vegas and Scottsdale and sold for 30k-40k more than this one and it is every bit. if not nicer. than any of those. The doors shut evenly and tight with just one finger pull. The trunk and hood shut tight and smooth when gently shut (incredible). for those that know how these early vettes fit from the factory.  All the chrome and stainless has been done and shows very good. I Encourage and welcome any potential buyer to visually inspect the car in person.
