STUNNING BLACK OVER RED ROADSTER
         In October 1956 after great success with the 100-4. Austin Healey announced the arrival of the new 100-6.   This car was very similar in appearance to the 100-4. but this time the car was fitted with a tuned version of the six cylinder BMC 'C' series engine.
            In April 1958. the BN6 version of the car was introduced. this time featuring 2-seater bodywork although it still retained the longer wheelbase. Production figures were 10. 68 for the 2+2 100-6 (BN4) & 4150 for the 2-seater 100-6 (BN6).   Production ended with the introduction of the Austin Healey 3000 in June 1959.   With a total production run of 4212. there were 4150  imported to the US.   This model is fitted with a 'C'-series 2639 cc engine. w/24 HD6 S. U. carbs giving an impressive 117 HP @ 4750 RPM.   To complement this. the transmission is a manual 4 speed with O/D.
             As you can see from the photos. this car is in outstanding shape.   Restored 3 years ago to the highest of standards. both mechanically & aesthetically.     
                 
            This '58 Austin Healey 110-6 has undergone a 10 month meticulous rotisserie 100 % restoration.   This car has the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certified Copy of a Factory Record (certificate number 2009/17933).   The following is the information on the factory record:  car/chassis # BN6-L/964. engine # 26D-RU-H/64030. body # 464. date of build 15-16 May 1958. date of dispatch 3 July 1958. destination (dealer) Hambro Trading Inc. . USA.   I have a good photographic history of the restoration with descriptions of the details.   The following list (taken from the photo notebook) will help to give a feel of what has been done:  pics of the rotisserie. semi-monocoque chassis in primer. everything perfect on chassis. chassis shot in black finish on rotisserie. Healey 6 cylinder completely rebuilt with mild cam. hardened valve seats. gear reduction starter. electronic ignition. attention to detail on block. the engine on stand to be run prior to installation. nbsp; front suspension completely rebuilt. brakes completely rebuilt with all new components and added brake booster for less pedal effort. rear end rebuilt and powder coated. new exhaust and heat shields along with new brake lines/fuel lines/wiring harness. perfect floor pans. reflective heat insulation on trans. tunnel. floor pans and bulkhead to help with infamous Healey heat problems. new chrome seat tracks and English carpet as original. pristine engine bay. new side curtains. top and tonneau cover. fully restored interior with all components imported from the UK.   A H 100-6 Owners Handbook. shop manual. restoration photo history notebook. tools/bag. jack/hammer. period original A H ads are all include.
            Since the car was finished. it has been driven and enjoyed for about 3700 miles. in the last 3 years.   The car today. proves that this quality restoration will hold up for years to come.
