Seller's notes: Condition for age is really good but the car has been resprayed in the past a different colour and that is looking a bit tired around the wheel arches in places but still solid. the worst areas are around the front wings top to body joint and a patch near a headlamp but nothing structural or serious. the windscreen has a couple of patches lower down in the corner where it has become misty but perfectly safe and not an mot issue Sale type: Fixed price listing
Welcome to the sale of my lovely MGB Roadster. I am not a stranger to MGBs and this one was supposed to be the one I kept forever. but i also have another one that i use for competition and realise i can't do everything. I searched for this car for a long time and although its not concours it is very solid and hasn't had much welding in its life and kept waxed would last a lifetime. I have been gradually improving it during its time with me and the list of improvements include. 950cc engine fitted last autumn just about run in at just under 1000 miles. complete with electronic ignition. k & n filters to let it breath easier and a nice single box stainless steel exhaust giving a lovely tone from a smooth torquey engine. New brake discs. pads shoes and hub bearings. 3/4" anti roll bar and stiff front springs. Spax rear dampers. New copper pipes. ss. fuel tank. new fuel pump. ss. boot rack. refurbaged dash. new seat covers. much more. Remember the car is over 40 years old so don't expect perfection. its an honest car with nothing disguised under filler. Paintwork not perfect with a couple of areas around the front wings and around the wheel arches that just need tidy to look brilliant for age. All the suspension grease points and servicing is always adhered to with no expense spared. i have missed bits I'm sure but ring to view or questions 01206 826512. advertised elsewhere. happy bidding
