1975 Triumph TR6 with Overdrive

 Hello Sports Car Fans. br>Up for auction here is a 1975 Triumph TR6. The car is finished in its original "Java Green" with one respray. The car originally came from the southwest USA according to the previous owner. The car is not rusted and has never been. It is extremely clean underneath. The interior is in excellent condition. no rips or tears in the seats. The dash is in near perfect condition. It has the complete tonneau cover and well as the half tonneau (top cover).   We installed an J-Type Laycock overdrive transmission and a new "Borg and Beck" clutch about a month ago. While we had the center console out we took the opportunity to install a modern CD player with Bluetooth/Ipod and MP3 interface capability. Within the last year we installed all new coolant hoses. fan belt. water pump. rebuilt brake calipers. Stainless steel exhaust. brake master cylinder. brake pads and front brake hoses. The car runs and drives great! It is the nicest TR6 we have ever had in the shop. The engine runs strong with no strange noise's or smoke. All electrical components work as they should. The car also has the rear tube shock conversion kit installed.   These cars are typically rather "loose" than say a similar car with a unit body construction. This car drives and feels much more solid than any of the ones we've ever had in the shop. The car needs nothing and has been gone through with the idea of making it road worthy. We put about 500 miles on it last year. The paint is in what I would say excellent driver condition. There are a couple of small dings on the bonnet. Its not perfect but its very show-able. The top is in good condition with just a small tear about a 1/2" on the passenger side.
We removed the big black bumper over riders but they are here and can go with the new owner. The car has "COKER CLASSIC " Red Line tires that have about 90% tread still on them. You are welcome to stop by the shop and take this car for a drive prior to the auctions end. Also. the car is for sale here locally and we reserve the right to sell it outside of EBAY.
