A rare chance to buy a still affordable Morris 8 Series 1 four door saloon. not many early four doors around and not often offered for sale. click the video link below to see this lovely car in every aspect. including running.

This is a simple project that will easily be ready for the spring shows and summer picnics. an incredibly complete car needing the new petrol tank and wiring loom fitting to have it up and running.

Loads of work has already been completed and the entire underside is cleanly finished in fresh paint. fully greased and oiled. all new flexible brake pipes. the leaf springs are protection wrapped. Excellent. crack free. tyres and the spare is brand new. All four doors open and click shut correctly. all the windows wind up and down and all the door bottoms are solid. see the video.

The leather seats need feeding and a good clean. but all the bases and backs are free from splits or tears. Paintwork whilst presentable is generally poor. it could easily be used as is. but a respray would be a huge improvement.

As the petrol tank's not fitted and the wiring need's changing. I got it running easily with some local wiring connections. petrol directly in the float bowl. a jump pack to turn the starter and a little fairy dust.

A very easy project. solid. running. complete. if your handy you will definitely increase your investment. recent sales of early on the road saloons have been close to ten grand. Once sorted you don't have to have an MOT as its exempt and your road tax is free. We have the modern V5c showing the correct chassis number.
