FOR SALE – '73 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE

This 1973 Mustang is a perfect example of the final year of the first generation Mustangs.   If you want a beautiful investment. and a perfect show car. this is your answer.

This Gold Concours consistent winner has been the example of perfection for over 10 years of MUSTANG C LUB OF AMERICA shows.   This car has been restored and shown by the past National President of MCA. who is also a 71-73 Gold Card judge. and a past MCA National Assistant head judge for 71-73 mustangs. and thoroughbred class judge.

The car is a Medium Bright Yellow with a ginger Vinyl interior.   It has a black convertible top with a glass backlight.   The engine is factory. numbers matching. 351 Cleveland V8-2V. backed by a FMX automatic transmission and a 2. 75 rear axle.    Factory options include competition suspension. Selectair air conditioning. power disc front brakes. power steering. power convertible top. color-keyed sport mirrors. and these three factory options:  Instrumentation Group. Convenience Group and an Appearance Protection Group.   There is a functioning ram air system. an AM/FM stereo radio. and tinted glass all around.   The car sits on four new “year” correct tires mounted on slotted 73 factory Forged Aluminum rims with NOS caps.   Front and rear spoilers are set off by the black hockey side stripe.  

This 1973 Mustang is a totally rust-free car. and is dealer undercoated.   It was delivered to Jacksonville. Florida. and was transported to Washington State in 1983 by a Mustang Club of America member who moved to Seattle.   The car was purchased on April 12. 1990 by the current third owner.

There are no oil or transmission leaks. and the car is serviced regularly.   The car is transported by trailer to National shows. but it driven to local shows.   The car drives beautifully and has the comfort of the big body Mustangs.    All the proper paperwork is included. and a total inventory of all servicing and parts will be included.  

In 1997 the car received a total mechanical restoration.   Then in 1999 and 2000 the body was professionally media blasted. and repainted.   New moldings. weather stripping. window felts. interior carpet. and all aging chrome were replaced.     The total suspension was replaced with NOS parts. as was the power disc brakes.     All parts that have been replaced meet the MUSTANG CLUB OF AMERICA's judging rule standards. and all the body panels are original and date-coded. the paint is still in perfect show-quality condition. and the seats. door panels and interior quarter panels are perfect.    The speedometer reads 59. 17.   The car is housed in a heated garage. year-round.     All accessories work perfectly. including the air conditioning and the heater.    And. all the proper decals and paint colors for the engine compartment. suspension and interior are in place.   The car is totally detailed underneath. and the engine compartment is of Gold Standard show condition.
