SELLER REMARKS

So you're at the drag strip in your new Mustang or Camaro and you're feeling pretty cocky. You've managed to show up a bunch of those "old" muscle cars. and your next kill is going to be this cute baby blue truck with a wooden bed. He fires it up. and suddenly something is very. very wrong. That "cute" truck has open headers. a cam lopey enough to qualify as an amusement park ride. and cackles with sky-high compression. Pull up to the line. kid. time to eat a truckload of crow.

While external appearance isn't what this truck is all about. there's no point in not looking good. The paint is much nicer than your typical race car. and the sky blue color is just the ticket to surprise and wow crowds. Trim on any truck from the '60s is slim. but the chrome front bumper. clean grille and big emblems on the fender are just the right touch. The front and side windows are standard glass. while the rear is Lexan in order to accommodate the NHRA legal 12+ point roll cage. Twin Optima batteries and a fuel cell sit way back for traction. Dual mirrors. a step bumper with a trailer hitch. full tailgate cables. reverse lights and more complete the little 'ol truck theme.

There's room for more. but since this is an office or speed there's only seating for you. yourself and you. Yeah. you could put a passenger seat in there. but that's just weight. right? The cab is still mostly in its original light gold paint from the dash to the door panels to the back wall. A big Auto Guage tach with shift light is as obvious as it is necessary. while oil pressure and water temperature gauges are far more discreet. Some used carpet and a radio you can't possibly hear when the truck's running help with the stocker look while a fiberglass race seat and RJS harness are there to keep you safe. You'll steer with the stock tiller while you're banging away at the B&M shifter (with transbrake and line lock switches) and stomping the Lokar billet gas pedal. That cage we mentioned before? It's overbuilt so that you can go much. much faster by simply pouring in more power.

A stroker crank. a big overbore and a pinch of nostalgia means this mighty Mouse motor weighs in at 409 cubes. A Demon carburetor and Dart intake throw excessive amounts of atmosphere at a pair of Brodix heads to get squished by Teflon-coated Ross 14:1 pistons. Big tube headers add horsepower and exponentially increase your carbon footprint. Manual steering. an electric water pump and no frills means that there's nothing for horsepower to do than push you towards the finish line. The front suspension is stock other than added disc brakes. and the rear suspension sports coil-over shocks. Those long rear control arms were good enough for Junior Johnson's cars in the 1960's. and their basic geometry is still under every current NASCAR Sprint Cup car. A 12 bolt. narrowed 14 inches. is stuffed with 4. 56 gears. Moser axles and a spool. Stock 15x7 truck Rally wheels are up front. wrapped in 225/70R15's. and the rears are widened wheels big enough to hold 31. 25/12. 5-15 M&H meats.

Ready to surprise a few people at the track? An 11-second truck will do just that. Call today!
