UPDATE 1/15/2014: Per our inspection and subsequent recommendations. the owner had us install a new OEM clutch. pressure plate. throwout bearing. flywheel and perform a major service. This included new fluids. plugs. wires. filters. valve adjustment. valve cover gaskets. 4 CV boots. adjusted the parking brake and installed a new crank seal.

 

This 1986 Carrera was consigned with us since its owner does not get to drive it as often as he would like anymore. The interior and exterior color combination is unique for a Carrera of this vintage. The seats have been reupholstered recently. The A/C was recently upgraded with R134a freon. and it blows cold. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein HD shocks and struts. It also has a short shifter installed. Otherwise it is original

 

We have been provided with approximately 15 years of maintenance history for the car. All services were performed on time and as recommended by Porsche.

 

 

A Carfax report shows an accident occured between 2002 and 2005 but details are vague. We've looked into this further and contacted the previous owner. A tandem bicycle in the garage fell over onto the car and required a minor paint blend on a portion of the right rear quarter panel and roof (they share one panel and need to be resprayed together)

All body panels are original.
