British Leyland Mini Clubman Estate Classic Mini Cooper

Up for sale is a 1979 Leyland Mini Clubman Estate. Upon arrival. the car was fully stripped down inside and out. The body was media blasted. coated in epoxy primer and metal repair was started. All new floor plans were installed. rear shock mounts were cut out and replaced and both lower windscreen corners. All panels were fully welded in. and the floors were sealed. The front and rear subframes were stripped down and powdercoated gloss black along with various suspension pieces. All parts of the suspension were replaced with brand new parts; shocks. cones. needle bearings. on and on. front to back. the suspension is all new. The rear drum brakes were completely overhauled. new pads. new parking brake cables. new wheel cylinders. backing plates and refurbished drums. The front got all the same treatment. The steering system was next up. New tie rod ends were installed. the steering rack was taken apart. cleaned and resealed for a straight from the factory feel. Rather than rebuild the front brakes. they were upgraded to Cooper S disc brakes. All new hubs. calipers. pads. and rotors. The whole braking system is brand new. lines. brake master cylinder. brake slave cylinder and everything in between. The clutch is practically brand new. the clutch slave cylinder was rebuilt. and the clutch master cylinder is brand new. The engine was completely looked over as well. The SU HS4 carburetor was rebuilt. New coolant hoses. ignition system was replaced where needed and anything else that prevented this car from running at its peak.  
The interior was next. All the seats. door panels. side panels. and various other small trim pieces were upholstered black with black stitching. New black carpet was ordered from Newton and installed.  
The exterior was repainted with a classic white and given classy black accent trim. The wheels are original Dunlop D1's with brand new tires. A 5th spare is included as well that is a D1. All the window seals and sliders are brand new. The car is completely back road worthy ready to see the country as it was intended to do with the fold down rear seat. It is a perfect car for a weekend getaway. day trip down the quiet roads or cross country. Upon test driving. I let my dog ride around with me. she loved the rear sliding windows and the breeze it lets in the car.  
I'm sure something is being overlooked. but this car was completely restored using original parts where applicable and brought up to today's safety standards.
