Welcome to my auction for a

1954 Dodge M37 ¾ ton 4x4 cargo truck 

(Restoration Project)

 

We bought the Dodge in 2011 with the intention of restoring it to its previous fully working glory having recently restored a Willy's WW2 Jeep this seamed like the next logical step. Larger with more grunt. power and looks to match!

Unfortunately due to other projects and a change in circumstances we never got around to it and the Dodge has been sat pretty much untouched where you see it now (with a tarpaulin cover over) for the last 3 years.

 

The Good Points:

- The engine runs. has no oil leaks and everything turns freely.

- The chassis is nice and solid. in very good condition with no rust.

- Tyres hold air so vehicle can be moved


Areas that require attention: 

- The Cab and Body are generally in very good condition however do require some welding 

- The truck bed is shot so ideally needs replacing (however does come with corrugated iron as a temporary fix)


Why you should buy it:

- This would make a great restoration project for the right person (enthusiast or home mechanic alike) and with little effort could be up and driving in no time! 

- It has great potential! It could be re-purposed as a Tow Truck or possibly revised as a Promotional Vehicle for your business?

 

As you would expect this is collection only and will require a lowloader/transporter to move it. you will not be able to turn up and tow it away. It might look like a tonka toy but it is neither small nor light!
