You're bidding for a 1967 fully restored VW Split Screen Camper van

 

This van had a full nut and bolt restoration around seven years ago by the previous owner. New engine with original restoration 7 years ago. Estimate less than 5000 miles covered on new engine ( I have insurance docs to prove my millage in last two years)


In the last two years I have carried out the following to complete the project.

 

·         New drums on the back 2013

·         New sports exhaust 2013

·         Van stripped in places only last month and re sprayed  to remove  day to day marks(  local classic car sprayers)

·         Inside refitted by master craftsman. new bench seat and cabinetry. handmade VW handles. Loads of handy storage built in

·         Leisure battery fitted  to run three way fridge. radio and two 12v electric sockets when engine is off

·         New Smev double stainless Steel burner and sink fitted ( top of the range) Electric 12v tap. Gas bottle and water container included in sale

·         New 3/4 rock and roll bed

Other key Points

·          Van passed its MOT with no advisories in January ( 11 months tax. but free anyway)

·         Low insurance. pay £150. 00 a year at present

·         All brakes and tires are in good condition. van has disc brakes on the front

·         Nice detailed chrome steering wheel and Porsche wheels

 This van has never missed a beat. starts up and you just roll down the road with a big smile on your face. a real head turner. With the 1. 8 twin port this van does move and it will get up to 70 on the motorway! Nothing better than overtaking someone in a 47 year old van! ; )

 There are vans on this site and others for much more money and I feel not as good. this van is rock solid with nothing to do apart from personalize.
