Chrysler : Other WAGON

 Up for sale is this really cool 1966 Chrysler Town and Country 6 passenger wagon. This is an original California car bought in San Bernadino.
I got this car from a friend of mine who made it his pet project. but due to health reasons. was unable to finish it.

The body is in grey primer. Overall it looks strait. The roof. front and rear floorboards and rear pan all look good. Both lower rear quarters have had body work done. There's some light rust on the lower panel between the tailgate (see pic). It doesn't look major. not needing cut or replaced. It's still solid. but I'm not a body man so you be the judge. The tailgate itself is solid.

All the chrome trim looks to be there except for one on the lower passenger door and one on the left front fender. Some do have dents and dings. No cracked or broken glass. It has power windows. The front two roll down good. but the back two stick and will need maintenance. The rear wagon glass goes up and down good by the key or the switch on the dash. The original color is sunflower yellow.

The interior is all original and untouched. Has factory bucket seats which I'm told is rare. The drivers seat is power but works intermittently. All the trim appears to be there. Dome lights work. the seats fold down good. and the AM radio works.

The engine is the original 383 ci. It does have an Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb on it. The motor starts and runs. I've only driven it around the block a couple of times. The engine runs a little rough. I'm not sure if it's plugs or wires or what. The carb has a stumble. The trans is the original 727 that shifts good. but has a small leak from the pan. The power brakes work good. The AC is all there but doesn't work.

The mag wheels look good. but the tires are dry cracked. I have the original rims and hubcaps that will go with the car.

Please understand that I've tried to describe the car as best I can from what I see and know. It is NOT perfect in any way nor do I make any claims that it is. This car will need restoration.
