"Sold on a Bill of Sale only"

Not 100% sure of the Jeep year but looks to decode out to a 1950 and comes with an interesting story:

Bought a year ago on the TELEVISION SHOW ‘The Car Chasers” on CNBC from the Slayton Air Museum in Slayton. Texas.   They used the jeep for numerous years during their air show and in parades before they sold it to me.   Previous to that. they received the Jeep from the Ransom Canyon Fire Department a small lake community Fire Dept in Lubbock. Texas.   The story continues that they received it from a high ranking officer that lived in Lubbock. Texas.

When we got the Willy's we freshened her up. replaced the shifter boot. windshield rubber trim. data plate. new tires. nbsp; new water pump. replaced engine hoses and freshened up the motor compartment.   She runs and drives great.   Its true these things are extremely hardy!  Rust free in a lot of the normal problem areas but does have rust on the rails underneath the floors.   Has what appears to be a complete vintage military radio and phone.   I haven't used it but look at the photo of the inside. looks brand new. The Jeep has the cats eyes and a siren which appear to be military issue. Also has one helmet that go along with it and a rear seat if you wanted to remove the gun tripod in the back.

I think the pictures show exactly what this Jeep is.   Great as a parade vehicle. farm vehicle or museum show piece.  It would be great for a Movie or Television series. which is where it may end up. I am not a Willy's expert. as I am sure many of you are and probably know more about this vehicles history then I do.   But. I did grow up with one and know their reputation of being extremely tough and a blast to drive on and off-road.   This one will not disappoint.  If you have any questions please call Jeff at 818-398-1829.

Really really cool Willy's ready to go.

Why does everyone take a good civilian Jeep.. paint it green... and fake everyone into believing that it is military??? CJ is not a military designation. Tailgates were only in the civilian version as well as there are no tool cut outs in the passenger side kick panels. Other than that... you have a very nice non military unit.
