Fully restored

One car is 1946. the other 1948 - both subject to full. bare metal restoration.

Amazing history - having toured Italy and spent time in India. Loads of paperwork. including letters and fuel ration books!

Both cars run very well. with very recent tune up. carb re-furb and full body detail. The paintwork is very impressive and the cars are complete. ready to enjoy. Both have electronic ignition - no points to worry about! Co2 now very low due to expert carb setup.

These cars are super rare. There aren't many out there and I am confident that any prospective buyer will be delighted with the standard of both vehicles.

They were the first new post-war cars to be built in the UK. each powered by BMC 2. 2 straight 4 petrol engines. with 4 speed gearbox. Clutch and gearbox very good on both cars.

Spare block. crankshaft and camshaft go with the cars. Although its very unlikely they will need these parts anytime soon. Also offered are two unused but top of the range breathable covers. which cost just under £500.

The cars are old English white with black arches - just detailed professionally to ensure the paintwork is gleaming. One car has excellent original brown leather interior. the other has new cream leather. which is pristine (new!).

These care are ultra rare and will be a sound investment and could be the placed at the heart of a strong wedding business. The Austin Counties Club  have declared this the year of the Sixteen and only 40 remain on the roads across Europe.

The engines have just been tuned and timed so they run as they should. The tyres are new (can last over 100. 00 miles!) and the brakes were set up professionally

Viewing is welcome and encouraged. I am certain you will be stunned by the condition of both vehicles. Will be very sad to see them go. I have listed a few times and had a change of heart. but I must

The cars are housed in a secure. heated and well lit garage.

Many thanks.

Paul

Hi there. i wonder if you can give me any details of the clutch disk? I have a 1934 Austin 16/6 that had been converted to a different clutch. It is 27.5cm diameter with 17cm int dia. I now need to source a new set of linings.
I had a BS1 many years ago and really loved that car. Sadly the boot floor rusted out leading to the rear bodywork cracking up.
