1923 Ford Model T Doctors Coupe

A rare model and very few of these around

in really good and fully roadworthy condition

everything works as it should do with no known faults

all windows wind or slide up and down ok

doors do shut and are lockable

Rocky mountain brakes

High compression head

Electric starter in addition to handle start

throttle pedal in addition to hand throttle (makes it easier to drive)

two ignition keys. door key and one boot key

Fuel can and mounting on running board

footplates mounted on running board

 

 

No MOT needed as built before 1960. Tax exempt. cheap classic car insurance

it does have a current tax disc till November 2014

 

 

runs on unleaded petrol without the need for additives

Fuel consumption is around 25mpg and original top speed was 40mph flat out

All tyres are very good (60 psi)

included in the sale is a manual. original jack. original spanners. new spare belt. new spare trembler coil. new engine dip stick kit and fuel tank dipstick

 

Work done by Neil Tuckett  (Model T specialists)last year includes

full service - complete axle overhaul - Alternator conversion with 12v upgrade - addition of discreet indicators

 

V5 present and correct with English registration. HPI free

this is not a concours vehicle but in very tidy useable condition

 

Negatives

there are some stone chips on paintwork  and some minor paintwork needs tidying

very small crack in bottom of windscreen
