This is a fun and pretty rare car. Original Build Sheet. Numbers matching. 1965 Plymouth barracuda with the commando 273 - 235 hp high performance motor and a Hurst four speed manual transmission. This was the hot rod Baracuda in 1965. You Mopar guys already know the significance of this car. But for those who don't please check it out on various places on the web. I am selling it because I have too many cars.  Per wikipedia "New options were introduced for the Barracuda as the competition among pony cars intensified. The 273 engine was made available as an upgraded Commando version with a four-barrel carburetor. 10. 5:1 compression. and a more aggressive camshaft with solid tappets. These and other upgrades increased the engine's output to 235 bhp (175 kW). Check out "wild about cars online" - they have a PDF of the Car Life road test.
The Hagarty Price Guide says its worth between $11. 00 and $17. 00. It's between a 4 and a 3 on their scale.
I am pulling the bumper off today to have re-chromed. I have a full replacement grill that I am going to put on as well. The one that is on there is bent in several places. It has dual Flowmaster exhaust. Manual drum brakes that work fine. and manual steering that also works fine. The heater and defroster work. as do all of the other lights and gauges. I took it to cars and coffee in Irvine and it got a lot of attention. There was another 65 Baracuda there and the guy wanted to check out mine to see how things were done at the factory. It really is mostly original. The only thing that is upgraded is the Edelbrock 1404 four barrel carb. It is a hoot to drive. Starts and runs beautifully. Always a Southern Cal car so no rust. A few dings here and there but I a took it to a paint shop and they said that everything is minor.  The rechomed bumper. original jack and the replacement grill comes with it. I have a video on youtube. search 1965 barracuda "richclas"
It needs paint and an interior. If it does not sell I am going to have it painted. the interior seats and carpet done. put the re-chromed bumper back on. put the grill on. Then relisted at 17. 00. before I do that. I want to offer it just in case somebody wants to paint it their own color and do the interior to their own taste.
