VW Oval Beetle 1956 80'S CAL Looker With Weber Engine in Nowra, NSW for sale

Up for Auction is this 80's built 1956 Oval Beetle. as you can see in the photos it isn't what it used to be. it has been poorly stored for the last 18 years or so.

The body is quiet rusty and has dents and bog. the chassis is a 69 ball joint pan that isn't too rusty it has a swing axle rear end. gear box is a 1500 Beetle with wide axles. engine is an unknown size based on a 1600 AS41 twin port case. it does have a pair of 40 IDF Webers. remoted oil cooler. and filter pump. the engine is seized from sitting. the front beam is a ball joint with 2 sway away adjusters. inside it has 2 Stratos seats with matching door trims. and a custom felt headliner. these are in OK condition but stink a bit from sitting.

This car is mostly complete. still has the semaphores. snow flake tail lights. fuel tank. W engine lid. it is missing gauges. rear brake drums. front brake pads.

As you can see in the last photo taken in 1986 is was a nice car. it is now only good for parts. it would take a lot of work to get it back. I have no idea what to ask for this car. there is no reserve so I will let the market decide what it is worth.

Winning bidder must make contact within 2 days of auction end to arrange pick up time and payment. cash on pick up preferred. I can store for a couple of weeks if needed but it must be paid for in full by Pay Pal or Direct deposit.
