Classic Rover Mini Rio 1993, 1275

Mini for sale due to wedding.  Cash needs to go into that rather than this.
September 2013 it had welding:Front scuttle panel replaced. extra wiper holes blanked off with metal and smoothed.
Rear subframe repaired.
Front floors repaired.
Rear floors repaired.
Air vents plated over - plan was to fit dash with speakers instead of vents.
Welding to various points on rear wings to replace holes from old arches. and rust at base of windows.
In December 2013 the bodywork was finished.  The car has been professionally resprayed in the original Rio colour. Caribbean blue pearl. and the roof has been sprayed white.  
I've added a picture of car incomplete to show the colour when the sun is out.  
The exterior is now complete. with new stainless chrome trim:
Bumpers.
Headlight surrounds. inner and outer.
Door window trims.
New door and boot handles/locks. all with the same key.  New gaskets for all of them. br>Has new front windscreen. with tinted top. and a new seal.
Boot has a new seal.
Doors have new seals between door and frame. and every seal around the glass within door has been replaced.  The windows are tight in the new seals and are stiff to wind up and down. in time I assume they will loosen up. Door hinges appear to have shims. could do with being taken out and doors positioned forwards a few MM.

When I got the car it did not have the correct clocks in. they have been replaced with the correct set.  Mileage reads approx 20. 00 miles ahead of the previous clocks.  Accounting for this the mileage is about 105. 00.  MOT history shows this.

Engine is 1275cc. standard. starts and runs good.  Exhaust is LCB. and is a stainless mid-pipe and stainless RC40 backbox on poly hangers.  It's not too noisy and sounds good.
At every MOT I've given it an oil and filter change.  Last years MOT also saw new plugs. dizzy cap. rotor arm. and leads.
Clutch was replaced beginning of 2013.  Slave cylinder at the end of 2012.
Has new plastic rover style arches.
Wheels are 12x6. they catch on full lock.  Car looks good with them on. so I just try to avoid full lock.  Tyres are A539's.

Sunroof has been rebuilt with new seal.  One of the two plastic clips that hold glass to hinge has a chip. which allows a small amount of water in. I've put a small square of black tape over it. which stops this.  The seal however. does not leak.
Interior is original Rio seats and doorcards.  The drivers seat needs covering in the Rio fabric. but is the correct twin-post headrest seat.  I have a spare Rio seat with a broken frame that will donate its cover.  Passenger seat needs a headrest.

Car needs carpeting. a new headlining fitted. and a dashboard fitted.  These parts I do not have.
Horn stopped working. literally a few days ago. I've checked the earth.  It's probably the horn itself.
Drivers door has a small dent. otherwise the body is very good.
With the interior finished. this will be a really nice Mini. and the Rio colour in my opinion is one of the nicest factory colours they came in.
Alternately leave it stripped out. buy some buckets and make a track Mini in a nice colour.
