This is my 1998 GMC Savana Truck. a 5 litre. V8. LPG/petrol (see notes below). It has an MOT until 4th October 2014. the last MOT had no advisory's. the tax has another 3-4 months left. I have used (and still use) this as my daily vehicle every day for the last year and a half. I used this for my business which involved transporting high-end motorcycles. so reliability was an absolute must.  The size of this vehicle is fantastic. the length of a Sprinter van. but with the awesome looks of the American vehicle. This looks much better than the other GMC trucks/vans for sale because of the lower roof height. this also means you can get into all public car-parks with height restrictions on. making parking easier.

This truck comes with the private plate 'G19 USA' !

The motor is strong and I replaced all of the spark plugs and service items about 7. 00 miles ago. During the period I have had the vehicle the only attention I have had to give it is a new idler pulley bearing (about £3 worth) and the new brake pads. all four tyres have less than 1500 miles on them. There is a full paper-work history included with the truck including all receipts. MOTs etc.

This auction includes two sets of bench seats that fit in the rear which hold three people per bench. all with seat belts. With one set of the rear seats in I have managed to also carefully carry two motorcycles. to give an idea of the space available.

I have installed a new stereo and speakers in the front of the vehicle and now the sound quality is excellent. it is a CD player with an auxiliary in of which I play music through my phone which turns into a hands free kit for talking on the move.

There is a working alarm fitted with two keyfobs and two keys. one fob requires a new battery. A Haynes manual is included in the sale too.

There are aftermarket 'performance' wheels fitted which look much better than the standard but still appropriate.

It has electric windows and seats. air conditioning (which needs refilling as I just hang out of the window when hot) and separate climate control for the rear.

I have only run this vehicle on LPG as the petrol fuel pump is weak and it is much cheaper on the LPG anyway. I have done trips across the country. fully loaded with motorcycles and show equipment. getting 170-200 miles from £40 of LPG for motorway work but I always fill up around 140 miles to be safe as we all know how accurate the LPG gauge can be!. For around town. that figure can drop to around 130 miles.

As an idea of insurance costs (as these vehicles aren't available on comparison sites) I passed my car license test late 2009. I have no points. I am aged 29 so fully comprehensive cover with business use costs me £480 a year.

I have also used this truck for 'camping' and a double mattress fitted in perfectly for a great nights sleep while everyone else was wedged into their tiny VW's. cute.

This truck has been used daily and so has the related wear and tear. the outside was re-sprayed about 2 years in a metallic black (the metallic is only really obvious in direct sunlight) but has a mark on the front and the rear/right of the vehicle. these are shown in the video along with the right hand wing mirror. The interior has no roof lining in the rear section. only above the driver and front passenger. but this hasn't bothered me at all and is barely noticeable. The interior plastics is cracked in places but none missing.

You are free to come and view the vehicle. it is located in Bournemouth. Dorset and I can be fairly flexible with day or evening viewings. I am regrettably selling the truck to fund another venture. I absolutely love this truck and it makes me smile every time I drive it.  

This is not currently advertised elsewhere. I am happy to accept offers to finish the auction early and cash on collection or bank transfer is preferable. Paypal is not an option for payment due to their high costs.
