A vehicle of this age is an on-going project needing constant TLC. so I am selling it as SPARES OR REPAIR. This vehicle was designed as an all terrain. cross-country vehicle with four wheel drive and high and low transmission. Cruising speed is about 30-35mph and the slurping noise heard when on the move is the engine drinking fuel at 10mpg. The lorry comes with a full tank of petrol (I always keep it full). Five new cross-country tyres and inner tubes fitted by VASS Ltd. A new master cylinder professionally fitted. Many new spares for the brake system. A complete spare engine with all ancillaries and a complete spare clutch assembly. Workshop manual. parts list. drivers handbook. A pair of genuine heavy lorry jacks. starting handle and wheel brace. As a HISTORIC VEHICLE it is exempt from London Emission Zone Regulations and does not require an MOT. although it must still be kept well maintained to be used on the road. Drive on car licence.

I have driven this Commer from Hampshire to Essex and from Essex to Bedfordshire and back to Essex. It is slow by todays standards so I have fitted revolving beacons to the front and rear to warn other traffic to be wary.

I don't really want to sell but I don't use it much now. so it's time for someone else to enjoy.

The pictures taken in the sun were at the last "BUNKER BASH" at Brentwood. The pictures with caravans in the background were taken this week when I gave the lorry a short run to check whether everything was still working. The pictures without the canvas are about 3 years old.

CASH ONLY. UK BUYERS ONLY. COLLECT lorry from CM150LJ. Spare engine from IG103HS. The spare engine is lorry size of course. and too heavy for me to help lift.

Just to let you know, I am re-painting and restoring this vehicle at the moment, and it will be up for sale at some point soon. Price is higher now, due to much work having been carried out. It's a pleasure to be working on such a classic vehicle tho. Thanks.

Hello, sorry, same boring question. Is this still on the market? The internet doesn't tell you these things! I used to own one as my daily driver... in London! Many thanks, Eddie

Hi, Could you please tell me if the Q4 is still for sale? I had one of these a number of years ago and always regretted selling it. Many Thanks.

Hi, is the Q4 still for sale? Happy to pay your asking price if you deliver to Leicestershire. I will pay for the petrol and can give you a lift home. I built a scale model of a Q4 while working at 35 Base Workshop REME.
