Here we have for sale is my Chrysler Valiant VE 1969It has the 273 V8 engine and the 3spd Auto gearboxShe is an Australian vehicle and as you can see she's right hand driveShe has just had a recent respray in Matt Black to give it that Rat-lookI wouldn't say she is a Ratrod because she is too tidy. certainly more Hotrod!Call it what you want but I love it. I don't really want to sell her but we have a baby on the way and I'm having to part with some toys. She has a low reserve so grab yourself a bargain.
About the car -
Mopar V8 - Need I say more. But I will say she runs like a dream with Bags of power!Mot'd till 10/04/14Taxed till 31/03/14 (tax exempt)68400 milesJust had a full respray. Black interior in good conditionShe has a Holley 4 Barrel Carburetor that has just had a full overhaul. New water pump and thermostat fitted. Chrome rocker covers. Etc. She is lowered by 2" (lowering blocks fitted)Custom made 2. 5" twin exhaust system. twin cherry bomb and balance pipe (sounds amazing)Custom machined 16" steel wheels with a large deep dish on the rear and not so much on the front.  (standard 14" wheels are supplied with the car including the original hub caps)There is a plastic fuel cell in the boot.  She has loads of chrome. The vinyl roof is in really good condition. The cars shell is really sound and in great condition the door bottoms are excellent too.
I'm being as honest as I can about the car as not to waste anyone's time (yours or mine!) and I'd say the bad parts about the car is -
Inside the boot could do with a lick of paint or just carpet it (buyers choice!)It has a slight oil leak from the gearbox sump gasketWith it having a fuel cell in the boot the fuel gauge doesn't workThe Log book is in my name but still says its White as I haven't had time to send it off yet.
Overall she is a great car and she runs really well. I have put a couple of hundred miles on her and have never had any problems. If you are looking for a cheap American/Australian classic car this would suit you down to the ground but if you don't like being looked at you may want to black out the windows as it draws attention from people of all ages.
