Hi I have for sale A 1996 Chevy Astro Safari day van in supurb condition I have known the van since 2006.  a friend brought the van from a local dealer (2006) it was only used as a weekend /day van . Ideal for motorsport/surf bus/festivals/hobbys/ trips to wherever/weekends awayI brought it off Mark in 2012 as i known the van has been 100% looked after and wants for nothing. The van is excellent condition and is IMO a lot better than bongos /vw transporter/vito/   
I have been to Le mans/ classic/ spa /the ring /North Devon Surfing for the weekend i have towed my track car to couple of circuits and tows effortlessly  And would have no worries about driving anywhere in europe in this underrated day van.  The engine is superb 4. 3 V6 petrol( no oil leaks)  that is effortless cruising at 70 mph and returns over 27mpg on a run gearbox /brakes all spot on. The body is in superb condition with no paint work required Front end and body kit repainted sept 2013 as laqurier had started to flake (cosmetic only) The interior is not leather but IMO a lot better no cracking or wear on the seats Its a 7 seater with belts. so ideal for a family day out swell as the odd trip with the boys!!!!!! Only 2 owners since import mood lighting front and rearelectric rear seats converts into a bed tow bar/air con /cruise new battery/blacked out rear windowsPassed mot with no advs mot till 12/14 and taxed till 06/14 ready to go!! Sony cd playerAlways been dry stored under cover  in a heated unit Had the air con re gased last year was cold as ice for 2 weeks then stopped working. had a die test and there is a leak on one of the pipes and need replacing. i haven't got around to it so air con will need fixing This is the only point i can fault the van on  Two sets of keys recent service  Imo possible the best value Astro on E bayCome and have a lookGenuine reason for sale i have brought a 5 berth motorhomeI will require a £100  deposite and all fund cleared before the van will be releasedI would prefer Cash on collection
