CLASSIC 1992 ROVER MINI 1000 CITY E RED MAY PX SWAP

This is a very reluctant sale of my beloved classic mini 

I've had the car around 6 months & i'm only selling due to a weekly commute to London. at the moment I'm using the mini in the week and taking the megabus down to London at weekends :-( 

So i may take a modern diesel car in a px deal 

Tested until august this year tax runs out end of the month but if the price is right i will tax it 

This is the 2nd classic mini i have had and this is a head turner it comes with an insurance valuation certificate of £5000 but thats from a year or so ago it should be more now 

The paint work is in 99% perfect condition with no rust in all the usual places the paint & the lacquer on the mini as really thick and it shines like a new penny when its had a polish (thats every other week end) 

The Mini has has had a  full restoration carried out on it replacing the two front wings.  

The rest of the shell was stripped back to the bare metal and painted.  

The mini has had many extras fitted including hi/lo shocks which gives the mini a smoother ride to cope with the modern road standards.  

The car has also been fitted with Ultra lite alloy wheels to give the mini a more sporty look.  

The under body of the car has been powdercoated to help prevent any rot and wear and tear on the car.  

The car has also been fitted with brand new subframe.  

All the nuts and bolts on the car have been replaced with stainless steel ones to prevent corrosion.  

The head on the mni has also been converted to allow unleaded fuel to be used on the car which means the car doesn't need the lead additive added to the fuel.  

The engine on the car is pretty much standard except for a 1000cc stage one tuning kit in order to help achieve a significant power increase. improved acceleration with better fuel consumption whilst still maintain engine reliability.

 The car has also been fitted with sporty wheel arches which have been professional painted to match the rest of the car.  The headlights have been replaced with angel headlights which are a whole lot brighter and enable coloured side bulbs to be added which really stand out if you wish to take the car to classic car shows.   The body of the car is in perfect condition and totally rust free.  The car is parked in a locked garage when not in use to protect it from the weather conditions.  The car also has been fitted with a full set of Wipac fog lamps which match the sporty look of the car and also brighten up the road when visibility is poor.  The engine block has also been painted to match the car body colour.  The rubber fuel pipe has been replaced with a metal one as the rubber fuel lines are more likely to wear away and leak.  The bumpers on the car have been replaced with stainless steel ones to protect them from corrosion.
 The front seats have been replaced with a set of black mamba bucket seats to which both have a safety harness which gives the car a more sporty look and also increases safety in the event of an accident.  The seats are in great condition apart from a little bit of wear as shown in the photos. The rear seats have been refabricated in black leather to match the two front seats.  The door cards have also been replaced with black leather ones to match the rest of the interior.   The roof lining has also been replaced with a black one to match the rest of the interior.  The car has also been fitted with a metal dash board to give the car a more modern look.  The door handles have been replaced with metal ones which have the official mini emblem on them also does the gear stick.  The car has also been fitted with 2 under seat speakers which sit under the back seats.   The steering wheel has also been replaced with a slightly smaller sports which gives the driver a more firm grip of the wheel.  The boot of the car has been fitted with a red boot lining kit which makes it easier to to store items in and also makes the boot neat and tidy.

Just a few bits that need sorting out nothing major 

the door lock trim on drivers side as come off (needs re fiting) 

i've bought a new heater matrix that needs fitting 

if i get chance i will refit it 

so sadly no heater at the moment 

i have a few spare bits to go with the car 

ie a pair crome race mirrors 

2x track rod ends 

heater matrix 

old steering whell 

standard air filter 

& any other bits i can find
