I am offering my 1985 Classic BMW E24 Series II M635CSi for sale. built no 0760234. # 234 of 524 RHD Genuine M635'sI personally imported this vehicle to Sydney. Australia back in 2007. I am the only Australian owner since it left Derby. UK in Aug 2007. I have all the papers to re-establish this vehicle back in the UK. nbsp;I have the MOT slips from the previous 12 years & V5 docs. from 2007
I'd like to prove to you the car is for sale elsewhere but ebay and their silly rules on not allowing hyperlinks has stopped me from adding one. but i can say it is for sale on an Australian "Carsales" website> under a 6 series tab> M635CSi banner. I only include this info so you are aware that it is for sale and not some misleading information. Look it up yourself if you want proof of this Genuine sale.

I have since meticulously restored the car to a standard above BMW's laid down design. The stand-out features of mine are;1. This is the only RHD example with a BMW Cruise control system. 2. This car now rides on BC Racing Height adjustable/Ride adjustable Coilover suspension. 3. I have fitted a Miller MAF type Air flow meter and performance chip.
The beige interior is like new. carpets are superb. paint is like glass to touch. Car rides on one of either 3 different sets of wheels. Style 5's (17 x 8") with brand new Pirelli Pzero Rosso's. he AC Schnitzer Type II's (17 x 8. 5) Have Yokohama R Spec tyres fitted. or i have the original Metric wheels with the Michelin TRX's 415/240's. Safety wise. the car has been now fitted with side intrusion in the doors. to meet the Australian standards. The head lights have also been replaced with modern Zenon design reflectors. still within the standard chrome rings & the headlight wipers.
I have kept all the original items if someone wants to return the car to its factory condition. The engine has been freshened up at 123KMiles. about 3 years ago. Additional work carried out at the same time includes. rake calipers have been overhauled. New clutch and slave cylinder. fitment of factory BMW E24 Air cond unit/fascia/controls. Rear axle LSD and bearings replaced. new radiator. new oil cooler. new m stitched steering wheel. plus countless other items. This car is a very limited use car of mine i drive it less than once a month. it lives in my garage under a 5 layer car cover most of the time. The car is immensely reliable. just too valuable to drive regularly. It is hard to quantify how good the handling is now since the fitment of the coilovers. the closest comparison i can give you is It handles like a new Lamborghini!
Regarding its location now. please do not let this put you off. I imported it from the UK. i have all the contacts to safely export it again. All up. cost for this would be less than 2000 GBPIf your looking seriously at buying one of these. i urge you to consider mine. As mine is now Rust Free. which if you know Aussie cars. we have a zero tolerance here to rust in our cars. This is a great opportunity to pick up a showroom condition. appreciating piece of automotive history. I will even graciously accommodate you here in Sydney at my place of residence if your serious about viewing this car. Nothing is too hard in my opinion!
