I am selling this car for a friend. I'm not an American car guy but this car is very nice!.   It has no rust and looks to have a frame off restoration done a few years ago.   I was told that it was built at the San Jose Ford Mustang Plant and has remained a Southern California car all of its life. The car has zero rust and looks like there has never been any body repair and no crash history.   The under pan is rust free with no signs of repair and with a steam clean it would look close to new. The minor surface rust on the rear axel u-bolts. calipers. and rear exhaust is from lack of cleaning and storage. not road use. The odometer says 2890. but has probably gone around once. I doubt it is original mileage. It has a T5 five speed manual transmission with v8 and a beefy rear-end and heavier sway bars.   The engine looks to have a rebuild with few miles on it (visual fresh gaskets and paint). The color of the car is a deep green with black interior.  I was told that it is a numbers matching vehicle. The car has power steering. power brakes (4 wheel disc) and a Mercedes style cloth top (sorry no tonneau cover). The rubber flex joint piece for the rear window glass has a tear in it. it is not a custom piece. and they sell them at local upholstery shops and can be fitted at home (no sewing). I drove the car 30 miles to my garage for the pictures and around town some. It has a lot of power and roads well.   It has been in storage since my friends Dad died about 3 years ago. and my friend is not a car person.   The car does not leak oil or any fluids. and runs on the mid to cool range on the temp gauge during all traffic conditions.   The engine. trunk and interior compartments are a little dusty from storage. but will clean up to excellent condition. When I was clearing out the trunk there were several plaques from car show awards.   There are a couple of minor dings (3) from being in a crowded garage. They are about the size of a dime and a competent paint-less ding repair guy could take care of them easily as they are accessible from the back side.   On a couple of edges there are small chips that could be also touched up easily.   This car could be brought to concurs condition with a little effort.   The chrome around the car is respectable but could use a high end polishing. The car's oil was changed and it was given a fresh tune up. Everything works on the car and the tires are in good shape and have plenty of tread.   I was toying with the idea of keeping it for my niece. as mustangs were great first cars when I was growing up. but the car has too much power for her. The registration was kept current and was up January 2014. The title is free and clear.   This is a good dependable car to drive or show. I have set a conservative reserve. but I am willing to entertain buy it now offers.   If you have any questions please call 17148753428 ask for Jim.
