1963 88" 2. 25 petrol Land Rover Series IIa
This vehicle has LOTS of potential!
Chassis is good (except the rear frame member. which I have one that will go with the vehicle)
Firewall (Bulkhead) needs repair (mostly around the top hinge area)
Warn freewheeling hubs. .
4 cyl gas engine. runs well.
New coil. water pump. hoses. coolant. oil & filter
Has a Superwinch overdrive
Has a Tuffy security console cubby box with radio (no key for box and not sure if radio works)
Needs clutch work. I installed a new clutch master cyl. needs the slave cyl replaced
(which I will also supply)Needs brake work (not sure if its Master cyl. wheel cyls or lines. have not diagnosed)
Will need to be towed from it's location.
Needs some wiring completed and interior bits.
Transmission. transfer box and axles (90w gear oil also supplied)Previous owner had painted it AA yellow. (looks good from a distance) :)  but he also had
a bunch of body filler skimmed on the body panels. guess he didn't like the rivets and "character" the panels have. I was planning on repainting it a Military green. but. unfortunately. have to sell.
The canvas top has some small holes in the roof (moving to TX damage) that can easily be repaired.
Act fast because this is sure to sell quickly!
These Land Rovers have amazing resale value once restored and are a very fun car just to have for hunting or just cruising around.
Breaks my heart to sell. but have to.
