Up for auction is a good driving 1974 MGB. The car runs and drives well. Has a very nice shifting transmission and will go up / down through all the gears with no noises or scraping. The car will back up an incline with out popping out of gear. The rear end is very good and makes no noises. The clutch is strong and the brakes are fair ( they need to be bleed out to improve the peddle strength ). The engine is strong and holds about 60 lbs when warm and at speed and about 52 lbs when warm at idle.  The car starts right up every time with no smoke. ticks. rattles or shacking about. The engine and engine bay look very nice and orginal.  Recent service included new ignition wires. distributor cap. rotor button. spark plugs. oil change. and the radiator was reconditioned along with a new radiator cap being installed and coolant fluid. The car has tight steering and handles well on the road. The head lights work. turn signals work. brake lights work. back up lights work. wipers work. blower fan works. horn works and the radio ( JVC with CD player )works.  The car has a very nice dash with all original "Smith" gauges. The seats and carpet will need attention as they are in poor condition but still serviceable at this time as a "diver".  The tires are newer and the top is new. The car has after market wheels but I do have 4 original style wheels that will go with the car. The floors and frame look good for the cars age. As you can see the outer sills have had some work done to them and inner ones do have some rust. All in all I think it is a very good car given its condition and the very low selling price. I know the auction says " Or Best Offer" but I'm firm at $2800. Its a great running and driving car and you will be hard pressed to find another like it for this price.    I have a clear NC title in hand. The car due to its age is being sold " As Is " but again she runs and drives great.
