Offered is a 1928 Tatra Automobile made at the Ringhoffer factory in Prague.

According to my research there are 4 of this model known to exist with only 1 being in the USA.

The specs are:

Engine made by Harken & Porsche

1055cc . 2 cylinder

4 Passenger interior

Weight - 890 kg 200 lbs

Total weight -1240kg.

In addition to the vehicle are documents from the import of the Tatra in 1969. the original owner's manual. certificates of insurance from the shipping company. glossy photos of engine details. Also included is a letter of authenticity from the Tatra Museum signed by Karel Rosenkranz testifying to the originality of the engine. Unfortunately for me most of the documentation is in Czech and German and I do not read those languages.

The current Pennsylvania Owner's Title is available for transfer to the buyer .

The body is in very good restorable condition as is the interior. There are many original interior details intact but there is room for creative restoration. Further detail photos are available upon request. Please email me with your questions.

Good morning Sir, I´m from the Czech Republic - your Tatra is very nice - just a little note - Tatra company produced cars from 1897 it´s the third oldest still existing car producer (after Peugeot and Daimler) in the world. Tatra produced cars in Koprivnice (a small town in the north of Moravia which is a small land east of Bohemia where is Prague) in German called Nesselsdorf - and Ringhoffer Fabrik was a company from Prague which overtaken Tatra in 1936 - so after your car had been fabricated - and gave it its name Ringhoffer-Tatra - but Tatra was still produced in Koprivnice - not in Prague - so it´s just an interesting detail - but who in the States knows Koprivnice - we will be lucky if someone will know Prague. Good Day! P.S. The letter from Mr. Rosenkranz says that the chassis goes with the body but the engine belonged to another body - two doors four seats "nastavkova limuzina" - that means a roadster with a removable upper part of the body - it was a very witty solution - 2 cars in 1 - today we would say removable hardtop - but it was a hardtop for 4 seats - it was the second /after the roadster/ most popular body type in the era. The three dates for the both cars in the letter mean: ordered - delivered and collected by the respective buyer. The letter finishes saying that the spares are rare and there was a problem with their export abroad but nevertheless the applicant was invited to tell what spares he was interested in. Then you have a cancelled Czech ex-registration form with a registration number (a log book) for the car.

Hey it's big Frank. I've been working, sorry I haven't been by to eat. Email me pics on that set of books on the nazi trials. And any significant military items. A buddy of mine has a military museum. Lots of equipment, all in working order.
