1963 Plymouth

V-200 Valiant Convertible

                        83. 00 Actual Miles!

The Nicest One You'll EVER Find!

In 1963 there were no Mustangs. let alone Mustang convertibles. If you wanted a fresh ‘new-look' car with a drop top. the Valiant was it. With a brand new body style for '63. the Valiant stood out in offering a convertible that was fresh. new AND affordable. This particular Valiant Convertible is one of the nicest you'll ever find anywhere. It's as stunning today as it was when it was new! And it's quite rare: of 257. 00 Valiants produced in 1963. only 7100 were V-200 Convertibles!

Refinished 8 years ago in its original Ermine White (Base-Clear). this Valiant is outstanding in every way. The paint still has a high luster and even ‘feels' silky to the touch.  It was always garaged. so that tells the story. The car has no rust and is solid everywhere you look. The bright trim. door handles. most outside moldings. etc. are excellent. The bumpers. front and rear. are still quite shiny. though they now show a patina that includes some hazing and a couple of minor scratches. But you have to look very closely to see them.  It gets even better when you open the doors and peek inside. You're looking at a Brand New correct interior. including new padded vinyl seats. new dash pad. and new OEM type carpet. Check out the dash and flawless door panels and the new door seals and wind lace. Incredible is the word that comes to mind. The previous owner took fanatic care of this car and spent thousands of dollars restoring it. In addition to the beautiful paint. there's a nearly new white convertible top and a brand new top boot. Even the interior top bows have been refinished!

Mechanically. this Valiant is 100%. The famed 225 Cubic Inch slant six engine is known throughout the industry as ‘bullet proof. ' It starts every time and is smooth and quiet.   The 3-speed push button Torque Flight transmission shifts as it should. and the Power top works as new.

In the trunk. you'll find the ORIGINAL Good Year bias ply spare tire that has never been on the ground. Let out the air and you'll smell Detroit. circa 1963 (LOL)!! This 50 year old tire still has ‘tits' on the tread. At that age.  I wouldn't drive too far on this spare. but it LOOKS brand new!  The trunk compartment itself is fresh. never restored and the floor is rust-free. To top it off. there is a brand new OEM mat. Now look under the hood.   The engine compartment  has been beautifully detailed and is ready for any local show.

But WAIT!  Now look under the car itself!!  Check out the photos of the under-carriage. You'll find a detailed chassis with a brand new exhaust system. manifold to tailpipe! This car is as clean and new underneath as it is everywhere else!!
