For sale is a 1972 MG Midget. This is one of the last years of the steel bumper MG's. It has the rounded rear wheel wells. I bought this car as a project and ended up in over my head. I have pulled the engine and tore it down but haven't done much more than that.

There isn't much surface rust on the body. there is rust on the door pillars and some rust inside the wheel wells. I tried to capture the car as accurately as possible before I pulled the engine. The chassis rolls fine. The engine had sat for too long and the pistons where carboned in place so I couldn't try and turn it over. I was told it ran when it was parked but take that for what it's worth. The cylinder walls look really good. Most belts and hoses were cracked and were desposed of. The windshield and side windows are all in good condition. The convertible top needs to be replaced as does the interior. The car has the spoke wheels and comes with the jack and tire wrench as well. The tires hold air but will need to be replaced. The radio is still the original radio. no idea if it works.

The mileage in the listing is the mileage displayed on the odometer. I have no way of knowing if it has rolled over or how many times it may have done so.

I was also given a second engine block and some other mic. parts when I purchased the car. which I will give to the winning bidder as well. This engine isn't complete but it might be useful while rebuilding the original engine.

If you have any other questions. please let me know.
