1973 Mustang Convertible - $13500 (Edgerton)

1973 Ford Mustang Convertible odometer: 134. 00
1973 Mustang Convertible Deluxe package. Medium Green metallic paint with matching interior.
Clean title. no wrecks. car is a survivor with only minor repairs done over the years.
I have won several trophies at local shows between 2007-present. Not a show stopper but in good shape for its age.

351 Cleveland 2bbl 2v heads. auto trans. 9" 2:73 rear end (original. with synthetic fluids) does not have A/C (Not installed from factory). Power steering. power brakes (Disc front. Drum rear)

Car is in original condition. A second paint job was done after the car was parked under a tree and sap dripped on the paint. I believe this was done in the early 90's.

Body changes:
Mach 1 front grill. rear mach 1 grill. rear spoiler were installed as well. Original hub caps. stock tires. Front spoiler added.

Engine changes:
Removed cast iron intake for Elebroch aluminum intake
Removed original 2bbl carb for Edelbroch 4bbl 600cfm
Removed original intake snorkel for Edelbroch circular chrome intake
Engine runs exceptionally well and has plenty of power. Very responsive for the year. Transmission was overhauled 10. 00 miles ago.

Description:
Interior is among the best I have seen at midwest car shows for 71-73 era. No damage or tears aside from the center console compartment lid paint spiderwebbing from age. Aftermarket (but old style) radio installed so no alteration to car. AM/FM/Mp3 capabilities. Wires are run for amp in trunk.

Exterior: Front bumper has scratches/chips from highway rocks. there are a few scratches in paint and one 6" scratch on passenger fender. Rust is beginning to show on driver side door. I had this inspected by a body shop in Janesville Wisconsin and was told it's surface only and can be repaired without major work.

Known issues:
Oil pan gasket leaks.
Valve guides are worn (Smokes when first started. does not smoke while running)

Serious inquiries only.

For the purest: I have ALL the original parts removed from the car and would be willing to compromise on the parts during the sale if they are important to you for a full on restoration. All original parts are in working order or show quality.
