You are looking at a 1968 L79 Nova with the 327 325HP engine known as the L79. This car is 1 of 1274 cars ordered with the rare L79 motor option in the 1968 Chevrolet Nova. This is a factory floor shift 3 speed car with factory air condition. Only 317 cars didn't get upgraded from a three speed to a four speed. This Borg Warner M13 3 speed was the factory default transmission for the L79 and the L48 Super sport.

The car is fully documented back to the original owner. Documentation includes the GM warranty protecto plate. original broadcast sheet. a copy of the original tittle and original registration. This car had a 2 year full rotisserie restoration. Everything is either rebuilt. re-plated. nbsp;or replaced. A huge list of NOS parts were used. No expense was spared. The car was just featured in the March issue of Hemming's Muscle Machine magazine a 6 page restoration profile article.

A truly unique car that is fully documented. This is the only known 1968 L79. 3 speed. fathom blue. AC car known to exist. It may just be 1 of 1? This is your time to own a truly rare car for your collection. Why would you want something everyone else has? The car is being sold as is where is!

To clear up a little information on the driveline that is in the car. The day the original owner picked up the car the motor failed 2 miles from the dealership. A replacement L79 short block was installed under warranty. The L79 block casting is 3914678 a large journal block and the casting date is I-22-7 The transmission is original to the car and matches the GM protecto plate. The rear is original and matches the GM protecto plate. The L79 is built to factory specs 11:1 30 over. I have 100's of pictures of the restoration which was done by me. So I can answer all question nothing to hide here. Send me your contact info I would be happy to discus the car with you.
