Restored & Performance Upgraded 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Finished in mile-deep Black over a Red interior. this 1964 Chevelle is a true SS that has been fully restored and upgraded for high performance. It has been owned by the same muscle car enthusiast for more than 6 years and has been meticulously cared for since restoration's completion. This Chevelle underwent a professional. frame-off rotisserie restoration in early 2011. The car has been performance upgraded but the restoration was completed with an eye to keeping this Chevelle true to a stock look. The body was stripped and superbly refinished in black with excellent panel fit & gaps and the brightwork and chrome was refinished or replaced. The interior was reupholstered in Red vinyl and features bucket seats. center console. red steering wheel. B&M gear selector. an AutoGage tachometer and Pro-Comp under-dash auxiliary gauges. What began as a 454ci big block V8 has been bored out to 468ci and has been performance modified with forged pistons. hydraulic lifters. roller rockers. Edelbrock high-rise intake with a Holley double-pumper. jet coated Hooker headers. electronic fuel pump & MSD ignition. All said and done. this Chevelle pounds out approximately 500hp. To handle the high performance. the engine is backed by a heavy-duty TH350 automatic transmission and drives a 3. 37 12-bolt Positraction rear end. The car rolls on Weld Racing wheels with Mickey Thompson street slicks. and power front disc brakes provide stopping power. Over $18. 00 in restoration receipts and records are included with this Chevelle and we have the original build sheet on file as well. This Chevelle is one of the meanest '64 coupes we've come across and is an incredible opportunity to put a professionally restored and performance upgraded piece of American Muscle in your garage at a great price point.
