I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles.   Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle.

This is one of those items:

We received this one family owned Bug Eye from a customer in San Antonio. Texas.   The Bug Eye was parked inside in a temperature controlled garage for over 15 years.

The car is a Texas car with a clear Texas title.   It has absolutely zero rust.

Due to the fact that it had very low original miles(62167)  we decided to send it out for restoration. and since the engine and transmission run almost like brand new. they restored everything except the engine and transmission.

We sent the car out to a British Car Specialist and he went from the front to back and ordered everything he needed from Victoria British.   He restored the car to perfect running condition. Everything has been worked on. and when necessary. replaced with new parts.   Basically all the mechanical parts have been reworked.  

I am going to list some of the items that were replaced:

New brake shoes front and back

New wheel cylinders front

New brake hoses front

New brake master cylinder

New clutch master cylinder

Both carburetors rebuilt

New spark plugs

New distributor cap and rotor

New plug wires

New points and condenser

New ignition coil

Gas tank cleaned

New wiper blades

New battery

New tires

Fresh paint job

New carpet

New oil and filter

We have all the receipts and the pictures of restoration.

We kept the original seats in the original condition that they were in.

Then we sent the car to a professional paint company.   Of course this was done after everything – all the chrome. interior. and glass was off of the car.   We have thousands of dollars in receipts invested in the car.   The only thing we have not ordered yet is the convertible top even though we have the convertible frame on the car.   Please remember that even though the car is absolutely gorgeous. it is not a 100 point car.  

The car runs and drives great and looks like brand new.   It comes with a clear Texas title and all it needs is a new home.   We can deliver to a short distance for a very reasonable price within Texas.

All the inspections must be done before the auction closes.

Remember that this classic automobile is 54 years old.   Please remember that things always look better in pictures.   So you are more than welcome to come see it in person.
