     Here is a beautiful 1973 Volvo 1800ES Sport Wagon in awesome condition inside and out. This car is very special in several ways. It is a three owner car which has lived in California its whole life. It also has service records going back to 1983 when it was purchased by its second owner. Every repair and dollar spent have been logged and meticulously recorded. Over three envelopes of paperwork come with this car.

      The car lived its whole life in the East Los Angeles area. The previous owner took extensive care of the car and always garaged it. This car was his pride and joy and always received the best care and service at authorized Volvo shops. Don't miss your chance to own a very clean and solid '73 1800es.

      The body on the car is in very good condition and was extremely well maintained. The paint on the car is finished in striking Volvo Orange and is in beautiful show condition. The paint job is several years old and does show a few small flaws as to be expected on a car that is meant to be driven. The car has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any well cared for garaged car should be. and has never been in any accidents. The car is riding on original steel Volvo wheels and chrome trim rings with like new Pirelli tires. All chrome trim was just redone or high polished. glass is all original. and rubber seals are in great shape.

      The interior is all original condition all around. The dash was just replaced with a OEM new in box Volvo upper and lower dash pad. The rest of the interior is very nice condition with absolutely no cracks or damage. The supple black seats are all in very good condition and look like they have been recently restored very close to original spec. or may be very well preserved original examples. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged and appear original. All dials and controls function as they should; all windows and rear hatch also are fully functional. All lights. gauges switches. and accessories work as they should. The trunk compartment is very clean and does have the original jack. the new matching spare tire and wheel which appear to never have touched the pavement! Also included is the original. complete. set of tools in bag!

      Mechanically. this 1800ES runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The 1. 8L engine is very quick and responsive. It is reliable. easy to fix. and parts are readily available. The suspension is very tight and feels solid even at highway speeds. The car was always regularly serviced as indicated by the huge pile of receipts. The car just had the A/C serviced and had a tune-up!

      The car also has manuals. service book. tool kit. and original California blue plates!

      All in all. this is one of the neatest Volvos that I have had the privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. At Close of Auction
