The Estate Wagon held the distinction of being the heaviest vehicle ever produced by Buick. and the car was equipped with a similarly heavy duty power plant in the form of the massive 455 cubic inch V8. coupled to an automatic transmission.

This vehicle is equipped with the rare electric clamshell tailgate. as fitted to the similar Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. This feature was unique to General Motors. and was discontinued when the range was downsized in 1977.

Recently imported from Florida. this is a very straight example with a strong. smooth engine. It has been repainted at some point (and not particularly well) with the old paintwork visible under the new. The car does require some relatively minor bodywork repair. but is in good condition overall.
