Offering a 1976 Lincoln Continental Town 2-Door Coupe in excellent condition by a private seller.

It's a 2-Door Coupe. Raven Black Exterior with Red Coach Roof and Red Pinstripes with Deluxe Red Velour Interior.

This vehicle belongs to my neighbor who is now ready to part with this nice luxurious classic car. I'm just doing him a favor by listing it and this transaction is not part of my online business. Also. I'm not a car buff. but I will get any questions you have concerning this vehicle answered in a timely manner.

The current Owner of this Lincoln Town Coupe is the 2nd Owner and has owned it since 1998 or 1999—purchased through the Estate of original owners. The current owner has a clear title to this vehicle and the vehicle has been garage kept (by both owners). It was recently inspected (August 2014 sticker) and is titled as a “Classic Car” in Pennsylvania.

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO INSPECT VEHICLE IN PERSON PRIOR TO BIDDING ON IT AS PICTURES CAN ONLY SHOW YOU SO MUCH. For a glimpse of its condition. please review all 24 photos attached. These photos were taken between 9/23/13 and 11/6/13 and you will see photos of the steering wheel both with and without the cover on. Also note that there are various reflections appearing in the vehicle from the surrounding landscape and they are not defects in the body of this car.

Vehicle Attributes: 460 4-barrel V8 Engine.

Deluxe Factory AM/FM Stereo and Quadrasonic Tape (8-Track). Climate Control w/Air Conditioning. Tilt Steering Column. Padded Coach Hood. Factory Painted Pinstripes. Hide-Away Headlights. Rear Fender Skirts. Whitewall Radials (replaced in 2010). Remote Trunk Release (located in Glove Box) and. Original Owner's Manual.

Known Vehicle Defects/Alterations: A long scratch on right rear panel above trim on passenger's side; normal wear and tear with minor scratches. dust/debris. and. minor pitting on metal trim; a sticky residue from candy left in the glove box was removed by owner using Dawn detergent; and. the clock on the panel does not operate. Also note that the owner said that approximately 5 years ago some debris from workers doing construction on an overhead bypass fell on trunk section and scratch up the finish and he had the trunk section repainted shortly after this incident. Additionally. the owner had the tailpipe altered—had a piece added so that the tailpipe extended beyond the rear fender (and I noticed the very end is a bit dented).

The owner has obtained copies of the service records dating back to 2004 from the garage where all work was performed since 2000 with the exception of the trunk work mentioned above. From 2004 to the present. the vehicle appears to have been driven less than 3000 miles; and. the records on file indicate the following maintenance/services were performed:
