1967 Ford Mustang Coupe

This Mustang is powered by a built small block Ford 289 with an all-forged bottom end. aluminum heads. and was built specifically to be supercharged by a Paxton centrifugal supercharger. There is a boost controller that utilizes water injection. The power is sent through a race-built C4 reverse valve body transmission that has a trans-brake and a 3200-stall converter. The rear end is a Ford 9-inch axle with a 4:10 Detroit Locker along with Cal-Trac bars. When this Mustang needs to slow down. it relies on the disc brakes found on all four corners of the car. There is much more into this build than can be listed! The previous owner spent a pretty dime on this but we're selling it for much less than that. You can't build this exact car for what we're asking for it! The previous owner also took this to the drag strip in Ardmore. Oklahoma and blazed it down the quarter mile at 10. 5 seconds before being told to leave the track due to not having a roll cage.

The body is in good condition over all. with some minor bubbling in the usual spots for early Mustangs. The paint isn't quite the show-winning paint job. but this Mustang wasn't built to win shows. it was built to win races. That being said. there is minor bubbling coming from the front of both rear wheelwells. and there is bubbling at the front of the passenger side door.  The hood is a fiberglass cowl induction hood held down by 4 pins. The wheels currently on the coupe are 17” Coys wheels with tires that are still in good condition. The engine sounds great and idles beautifully. This is a very street-able car. The interior is very stock with the exception of the tachometer mounted on the steering column with the boost controller along with the three aftermarket gauges that are mounted on the passenger side of the dashboard. the shifter is mounted on the driveshaft tunnel along with a fire extinguisher. Other than those. the interior is what you would find in a stock Mustang coupe with black vinyl bucket seats and bench seat out back. The carpet is in good condition along with the seat belts. All the windows roll down and come up just fine.

This is a great car to buy if you're looking into getting into drag-strip racing with some additions. This could be a great candidate to take on the Hot Rod Drag Week or any other drag strip competition. Or if you're looking for something that you can have fun in on the weekends out on a cruise. or perhaps you want to be the guy with the coolest car in the employee parking lot at work every once in a while. then this is the car for you!
