We took this MG in part exchange against a modern Mercedes SLK. This example looks to be in exceelent cosmetic condition and was driven faultlessly from Worcester to Sheffield. A very pretty. useable example.

The V5 logbook shows this MG was first registerd 02/08/1977. The V5 Logbook shows 6 former keepers from new. Our customer has owned the car since May 2004 where the car has been used vary sparingly and garaged. Prior to this it was owned by a gentleman owner from July 1998 - 2004. This gentleman purchased the car from Cleevewood Garage Bristol at 75k miles.

The vehicle arrived with us in April 2012 and has been stored in the back of our showroom since. Recently put into use and will be supplied freshly serviced and with 12 months MOT.

Mechanical Condition:
As mentioned previously this car was driven from Worcester to Sheffield and was faultless. It has had regular local use recently and performed very well with no obvious issues. This example feels like a very useable. enjoyable example. There is nothing in the paperwork to suggest the indicated mileage of 86k is not genuine. Fitted with overdrive. A very solid example that impressed out local garage upon inspection on their ramp.

Exterior Condition:
The exterior is in excellent order for the year. There is an invoice in the service history showing £2. 00 spent by Cleevewood Garage in 1997 for paintwork / sills etc. The wheels are in perfect condition with no corrosion or damage and just the 1 MG badge needing replacement. No visible corrosion on body and as mentioned. very solid and impressive when inspected on ramp. The hood is in good order. A very pretty example in a great colour.

Interior Condition:
The seats are in great condition with no wear or damage. All the carpets are in nice order and very clean. The boot is very clean and in good order. The car has been garage stored certainly throughout the last owners period of ownership and has been stored in our showroom. this is reflected in the overall condition today.
