1966 Porsche 912 ELECTRIC SUNROOF no reserve

You are looking at a very rare 1966 Porsche 912 sunroof. "From the beginning of production in 1965. the 912 was available with an electric sunroof option.  These coupes are fairly rare and are currently in high demand.   Very early models had drain openings that directed water to the window rain-gutters.  Later. the drains were relocated to lead to the channels under the engine lid. "  This one has been parked for many years and I just recently got her running to shoot a couple of quick videos. I will still be listing this Porsche as a non running project. There were some things that had to be done before I shot the videos. including; putting better tires on. a new battery. new coil. new starter. some new fuel lines. new electronic ignition in the original distributor. rebuilt the fuel pump and rebuilt the Solex carburetors. This Porsche was originally Polo Red. She is a four speed. This is not the original engine she came with but in fact from a 1965 Porsche 912. After putting in a new cable the electric sunroof did work. This car is the very early model that had the sunroof drain openings that came out above the rain-gutters. The car does come with the parts I pictured in the listings slideshow pictures. and a open clean FL title not in my name. Again I only got her temporally running for some quick videos. to show the potential this old 912 has. and she is selling as a non-running project. This car has a very rare sunroof option in a 912 and you will rarely ever find them for sale.  I am going to let my video. slideshow and pictures do the talking.
